Levidian concludes first ever graphene auction, reinforcing demand for industrial-scale graphene
Levidian’s first-ever graphene auction has now officially come to a close, reinforcing the scale and diversity of demand for high-quality, industrial-scale graphene.
Interest from prospective bidders exceeded expectations, with the total volume reaching almost 100 tonnes and spanning a wide range of applications. The most commonly cited were:
Concrete (67% of participants)
Polymers (44%)
Composites (33%)
Beyond these, we saw engagement across batteries, paints and coatings, asphalt, rubber, textiles, inks and more – highlighting graphene’s vast potential across industries.
A key theme that emerged was the need for reliable supply. As material scarcity, geopolitical risks, and supply chain challenges grow, securing a consistent graphene source is more important than ever. With our expanding LOOP network and the ability for customers to deploy their own LOOP for direct graphene production, Levidian offers a scalable, decentralised solution to meet this demand.
Optimising graphene’s impact is just as important as supplying it. The right functionalisation — understanding how to integrate graphene into materials for maximum performance — is essential. Our team at Levidian Applied Technologies has been working closely with participants to explore tailored applications, and a number of potential bidders have now shifted from the auction to our traditional sales process.
A huge thank you to everyone who engaged — whether you submitted a bid, registered to participate or simply followed the journey.
With strong market validation, a clear path forward, and ongoing discussions with partners, we’re excited for what’s next.
